Kamieth: Construction paints are noncore to BASF. BASF says it has agreed to sell its decorative paints business in Germany and France to Prosol Lacke + Farben (Aschaffenburg, Germany). The business to be sold forms part of the Relius Coatings subsidiary. It includes construction paints and plaster, as well as varnishes and glazes for construction applications.
