Azelis Sells Its Polymers Business to French Firm

Specialty chemicals distributor Azelis (Antwerp) says it has sold its thermoplastic polymers business to Gazechim Plastics (Béziers, France), a subsidiary of Gazechim Group. The entire Azelis thermoplastic polymers business is under the management of Gazechim Plastics, effective May 15, 2012. The sale is in line with Azelis’s strategy to focus on specialty chemicals and ingredients, the company says.
