Axalta Coating Systems to invest $60 million in waterborne coatings, Germany

Axalta Coating Systems (Philadelphia), the former coatings operations of DuPont, says it is to invest $60 million to build a next-generation plant to expand its production capacity of waterborne coatings at Wuppertal, Germany. The plant will use manufacturing technology to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and further shrink its environmental footprint, the company says.
