Arkema sees earnings growth in 2014

Arkema, having reported fourth-quarter and full-year 2013 results, says it is confident that it will grow Ebitda in 2014. Adjusted net income from continuing operations in the fourth quarter was up 4.5%, to €46 million ($63.3 million), on sales down 2.5%, to €1.41 billion. Ebitda was down 5.3%, to €162 million, and the fourth-quarter Ebitda margin was slightly down, to 11.5%. The company warned in January that it would not reach its previous 2013 Ebitda projection of €920 million. Arkema closed 2013 with Ebitda 9.4% down, at €902 million...
