Apollo Management to Acquire Taminco from CVC

Change of ownership: Taminco's production site at Leuna, Germany. Private equity firm Apollo Global Management has agreed to acquire Taminco (Ghent, Belgium), the biggest producer of alkylamines and derivatives, from private equity firm CVC Capital Partners for a reported €1.15 billion ($1.5 billion). The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2012. CVC put Taminco up for sale last September.
