AkzoNobel’s Five-Year Goals Focus on High-Growth Markets

AkzoNobel has announced ambitious goals for the next five years, aiming to reinforce the company’s leading position in the global coatings industry and promote AkzoNobel to the number-one slot in specialty chemicals. Targets include raising group annual revenues to €20 billion ($27.2 billion) by around 2015 from €13 billion in 2009; increasing Ebitda each year; and maintaining the Ebitda margin at 13%-15%. It also aims to continue reducing its working capital; further improve its safety record; and remain in a top position in the Dow Jones sustainability...
