Egypt Cancels Agrium Project, Relocates it to Another Site

Egypt has decided to cancel EAgrium, a previously announced $1.4-billion fertilizer project at Ras el-Bar, Damietta, Egypt, a popular tourist resort on the Mediterranean coast, following protests by local residents. Instead, the project will be built a few kms away across a local canal still at Damietta by Misr Oil Processing Co. (Mopco; Cairo)....
