Sumitomo buys LyondellBasell out of Nihon Oxirane

Sumitomo Chemical has reached an agreement to acquire LyondellBasell Industries’ stake in the companies’ Nihon Oxirane (Tokyo) joint venture. Sumitomo holds 60% and LyondellBasell holds 40% of the jv. Nihon Oxirane, established in 1972, produces and sells styrene, propylene oxide (PO), and propylene glycol (PG)....
