Sumitomo Seika Establishes Korea Subsidiary

Sumitomo Seika Chemicals (Osaka) says it plans to establish a wholly owned manufacturing and sales subsidiary in Korea to meet growing demand for its products in the Korean market. Sumitomo Seika says it will build a plant to produce high-purity ammonia gas at Paju, Korea as well as a storage facility for various gases. Construction of the plant will be completed by March 2009, and the plant will have a production capacity of 1,500 m.t./year, Sumitomo Seika says.
