Solvay has signed a memorandum of understanding with the EWHA (Seoul) women’s university to create a research, development, and technology center at the university campus. Solvay will invest €13 million ($18.7 million) in the center, which will focus on developing products for high-growth markets such as electronics, lithium-ion batteries, and photovoltaic cells.
