Sinopec, Wanhua Chemical sign cooperation agreement

Sinopec says it has signed a cooperation framework agreement with Wanhua Chemical Group (Yantai, China), formerly Yantai Wanhua Polyurethanes, from 2013 until 2018. Yantai Wanhua Polyurethanes changed its name to Wanhua Chemical in June 2013 to reflect the expansion of its operations. The company is a leading producer of methylene di- para -phenylene isocyanate (MDI). The cooperation between Sinopec and Wanhua will focus mainly on benzene, methyl tert -butyl ether (MTBE), propylene, propane, propylene oxide (PO), 1,4-butanediol (BDO), acrylic acid and esters...
