The new company, Showa Denko Air Water, will be established by year-end and headquartered in Tokyo. Showa Denko will have a 51% stake in the jv and Air Water will have the rest. Demand for specialty material gases has been growing steadily and centering on Asian markets, the companies say. Applications include the production of solar cells, semiconductors, liquid crystal...
