Showa Denko and Mitsubishi Corp. say they have entered into a strategic partnership for the fullerene business. Showa Denko has acquired from Mitsubishi Corp. a 50% stake in Frontier Carbon Corp. (FCC; Tokyo) as part of the deal, making FCC a 50-50 joint venture between Mitsubishi Corp. and Showa Denko.
