Shin-Etsu Builds LED Material, Rare Earth Plants in Vietnam

Shin-Etsu Chemical says it has established its first two subsidiaries in Vietnam. They are Shin-Etsu Electronics Materials Vietnam for the manufacture of silicone-based materials for high-brightness, light-emitting diode (LED) packaging; and Shin-Etsu Magnetic Materials Vietnam for the separation and refinement of rare earths.
