Chemical Week Magazine :: Business & Finance :: Asia/Pacific SK Global Chemical to Build EPDM Plant in China7:27 AM MDT | March 23, 2012 | —Deepti Ramesh SK Global Chemical, the petrochemical business of SK Innovation (Seoul), formerly SK Energy, says it will build an ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber plant at Ningbo, China. The plant will have production capacity for 50,000 m.t./year of EPDM and it is expected to start production in 2014. SK Global says it is planning to work with a state-owned Chinese firm on the project. SK Global’s total EPDM capacity, once the plant is fully operational, will rise to 90,000 m.t./year.
