The program will consolidate Reliance’s position as the worldwide leader in polyester production, the company says. The projects include a plant that will produce 2.3 million m.t./year of purified terephthalic acid (PTA) at Dahej, India with the potential to increase capacity by a further 1.15 million m.t./year at a later stage, Reliance says.
