Rallis Acquires Stake in Seeds Research Firm

Agchem firm Rallis India (Mumbai), a subsidiary of Tata Chemicals (Mumbai), has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that the company has completed the acquisition of a 53.5% stake in seeds research firm Metahelix Life Sciences (Bangalore). Rallis has become the holding company of Metahelix following the acquisition. Metahelix has a portfolio of seeds commercialized over the last three years.
