PTT Merges Petchem Subsidiaries

Energy company PTT (Bangkok) has confirmed that its board has approved a merger between the company’s PTT Aromatics and Refining, and PTT Chemical subsidiaries. The merger will create a new company that will be positioned as PTT’s petrochemical flagship with overall petchem production capacity of 8.2 million m.t./year and petroleum products capacity of 228,000 bbl/day.
