Lanxess Starts up Rubber Chemicals Plant at New Site in India

Lanxess says it has completed the first phase of construction of a previously announced manufacturing site at Jhagadia, India, where it has started production of rubber chemicals. The company is developing the Jhagadia site for the manufacture of ion exchange resins and rubber chemicals with a total investment of €50 million ($68 million). The rubber chemicals project involved relocating production from Thane, India to Jhagadia.
