The plants have a combined initial capacity of 20,000 m.t./year for the production of the company’s Durethan and Pocan engineering plastics, used by the automotive industry. Lanxess’s material protection products business unit also opened a plant at Jhagadia for biocides used in the construction industry, and the company’s Rhein Chemie subsidiary started up a plant for release agents...
