Kuraray Announces New Three-Year Business Plan Targets

Kuraray has launched a business plan for the three-year period ending March 31, 2015, targeting a 47% rise in sales over the period. The company aims to record sales of ¥550 billion ($6.7 billion) and operating profits of ¥85 billion in the fiscal year ending March 31, 2015. Kuraray expects to report sales of ¥372 billion and operating profits of ¥57 billion in the fiscal year ended March 31, 2012. The company intends to invest about ¥240 billion during the next three years, and more than 70% of the capital expenditure will be used to increase production...
