Kaneka, Mitsui & Co. Form JV in India for Chlorinated PVC

Kaneka (Osaka) says it has entered into an agreement with Meghmani Organics (Ahmedabad, India) and Mitsui & Co. to form a joint venture that will study construction of a chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) production facility at Dahej, India. Kaneka will have a 41% stake in the jv, which will take the name Trience Speciality Chemicals. Meghmani will have a 39% stake and Mitsui & Co. will hold the remaining 20%.
