Japanese Firms Prepare to Restart Operations

A growing number of chemical plants are on course to restart production in Japan this month, but operations at some major facilities are expected to take longer to resume, companies say. Output of chemicals has fallen sharply in eastern Japan following the earthquake and tsunami that struck the northeast of the country on March 11.
