Haldor Topsøe invests $166 million for China catalyst plant

Haldor Topsøe says that its board has approved the capital investment needed to build a previously announced automotive catalyst plant in the Tianjin Economic Technological Development Area, about 100 kilometers east of Beijing. The plant will require a total investment of about 900 million Danish kroner ($166 million), the company says. The plant’s construction has begun and will consist of two phases.
