Gail, Sumitomo sign MOU on energy, petchems cooperation

Gail India and Sumitomo, one of Japan’s largest trading groups, have announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) covering cooperation in gas procurement and petrochemicals. Gail and Sumitomo will pursue business opportunities in the natural gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG) value chain worldwide, specifically covering cooperation in petrochemicals, natural gas procurement, pipelines, and LNG, the companies say in a statement.
