EuroChem and Migao form fertilizer joint venture in China

EuroChem (Moscow), Russia’s largest producer of fertilizers; and Migao (Toronto), a specialty potash fertilizer producer, have confirmed plans to establish a fertilizer production joint venture in China. The companies first announced the plans in July. The jv, EuroChem Migao (Hong Kong), will produce 60,000 m.t./year of potassium nitrate (NK) and 200,000 m.t./year of chlorine-free NPK complex fertilizers at Luliang, Yunnan Province.
