Chemical Week Magazine :: Business & Finance :: Asia/Pacific Emery Oleochemicals Plans Investments12:03 PM MDT | March 18, 2011 | —DEEPTI RAMESH Emery Oleochemicals (Selangor, Malaysia) says it will invest a total of RM416 million ($137 million) in Malaysia over the next few years in projects to produce biolubricants, green polymer additives, and surfactants for home and personal care products. The company is a 50-50 joint venture between Sime Darby Plantation (Kuala Lumpur) and PTT Chemical (Bangkok). Emery Oleochemicals plans to build a green polymer additives plant at Telok Panglima Garang that is due to start production by the third quarter of 2011.
