An antidumping investigation was launched in April 2010 following complaints from two undisclosed subsidiaries of Sinopec. Mofcom, in its final ruling announced in mid-October, says that caprolactam imports from the U.S. and EU were dumped in the Chinese market, causing substantial damage to the Chinese caprolactam industry.
