Carbon trading starts in Chongqing

The Chinese government says that the city of Chongqing launched a carbon-trading market on 19 June, making the location the seventh in China to establish a carbon-trading platform. Pilot trading schemes are now operational at all seven approved locations, the Chinese government says.
