Arkema forms acrylic acid JV with Jurong Chemical in China

Arkema says that it will form a joint venture, named Sunke, with Jurong Chemical (Yancheng, China), the leading player in acrylic acid in China. Arkema will have a majority stake in the jv, which will comprise the assets of Jurong Chemical’s acrylic acid production site at Taixing, China, which opened in 2012.
