Changshu is Arkema’s leading global production platform. China represents a major focus for the company’s investment strategy, CEO Thierry Le Hénaff said at the inauguration. Arkema’s sales in the country have been growing more than 50%/year and are expected to reach about $1.3 billion in 2015, corresponding to approximately 50% of the company’s anticipated Asian sales.
