Air Products to Build Another Large-Scale Industrial Gases Unit in China

Air Products says it has signed a long-term supply contract with Shaanxi Future Energy Chemical for Air Products to build, own, and operate the largest on-site air separation unit ever built by an industrial gases company. The facility, to be located at Yulin in Shaanxi Province, China will include multiple air separation trains and produce 12,000 m.t./day of oxygen and significant volumes of nitrogen and compressed dry air for Shaanxi Future Energy Chemical’s coal-to-chemicals plant.
