Air Liquide-Praxair JV awarded gases deal by Shanghai Secco

Shanghai Chemical Industry Park Industrial Gases (Scipig), a joint venture between Air Liquide and Praxair, has been awarded a 15-year contract to supply industrial gases to Shanghai Secco Petrochemical (Shanghai), Praxair says. Scipig, under the terms of the agreement, will supply pure oxygen to Secco, located in the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park (SCIP) at Caojing, China, for Secco’s sulfuric acid regeneration unit. The pure oxygen will increase the capacity of the unit, significantly reduce its emissions, and improve its overall production efficiency...
