China acts against dumping

The Chinese government has stepped up its policy of investigating the possible dumping of chemical products in China by overseas exporters and imposing antidumping duties, following complaints from domestic producers. China recently implemented duties and proceeded with a number of investigations covering several additional products. The Ministry of Commerce, PRC (Mofcom; Beijing) imposed provisional antidumping duties, starting 23 November 2012, on imports of resorcinol from Japan and the United States.
