Nippon Shokubai’s Himeji complex remains offline

Nippon Shokubai says that operations at all of the production facilities at the company’s manufacturing complex at Himeji, Japan, remain suspended following an explosion and fire at the site on 29 September. The accident resulted in the death of one firefighter, as well as several serious injuries. There are still no plans to restart operations at the complex, the company says.
