Evonik, Taiyo Nippon Sanso end monosilane partnership

Evonik Industries and Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corp. (TNSC; Tokyo) say they have terminated their joint monosilanes manufacturing partnership at Yokkaichi, Japan, effective 30 September 2012. Evonik has begun the process of closing its Yokkaichi monosilanes plant permanently. Evonik supplied monosilanes from the Yokkaichi plant to TNSC, under a long-term supply contract.
