U.S. butadiene spot prices tumbled 10 cts/lb, to 189 cts-191 cts/lb. Players says that buyer interest is sluggish, prompting spot numbers to decline. Easing demand led spot prices to fall below the $2/lb mark for the first time in nine weeks. On the contract side, August contracts reached a split settlement, with three producers settling up 5 cts/lb, to $1.75/lb, and a fourth producer settling up 11 cts/lb, to $1.86/lb. Spot prices for...
