Chemical Week Magazine :: Basic Chemicals & Plastics TiO2 Producers Up 2011 Prices8:45 AM MST | November 19, 2010 Kronos says it will increase the price for all titanium dioxide (TiO2) products sold in Europe by €200-€250/m.t., depending on the grade, on January 1, 2011. The company will also raise TiO2 prices in Asia/Pacific, Latin America, the Mideast, Africa, and Asia by $200/m.t. Meanwhile, Huntsman will increase TiO2 prices on January 1, or as contracts allow. Prices will rise in Europe by €150/m.t. in the euro zone and by $200/m.t. in dollar-based markets, and TiO2 will increase by 8 cts/lb in North America.
