Tata Completes Soda Ash Purchase

Tata Chemicals (Mumbai), the owner of Brunner Mond (Northwich, U.K.) and one of the leading makers of soda ash, says it has completed the acquisition of General Chemical Industrial Products’ (East Hanover, NJ) soda ash business for $1 billion.
