Chemical Week Magazine :: Basic Chemicals & Plastics Shell Completes Turnaround and Debottlenecking at Chinese JV9:24 AM MDT | September 3, 2010 | Lindsey Bewley Shell Chemicals says it has completed its first turnaround at its Nanhai petrochemicals joint venture complex at Guangdong, China. Nanhai is a 50-50 jv with China National Offshore Oil Company (CNOOC). The turnaround was completed while carrying out the debottlenecking of an ethylene cracker and process units, and were finished ahead of time and within budget, the company says.
