Sabic Eyes Big PP Plant for the U.K.

Sabic Europe is considering plans to build a 400,000-m.t./year polypropylene (PP) plant at the Wilton, U.K. manufacturing complex that Sabic acquired recently with the purchase of Huntsman’s U.K. petrochemical business, CW has learned. Sabic will decide this year whether to locate the €250-million ($325 million) PP investment at Wilton, Boy Litjens, CEO of Sabic Europe, says.
