Producers Up Caustic Prices

Bolstered by strong utilization rates, U.S. caustic soda producers have stepped out with price increase announcements, citing strong demand and tight supply. Dow Chemical says it will raise prices for diaphragm-grade caustic soda by $25/ton and membrane-grade caustic soda by $35/ton, effective June 27 or as contracts allow.
