Potash Market Poised to Expand

Potash industry majors including Canadian firms Potash Corp. and Agrium, as well as players in Europe and Russia, have announced investments to keep pace with rising demand. Global supply is about 68 million m.t., according to BMO Capital Markets (Toronto) and proposed expansions will take supply to about 84 million m.t. by 2016 and about 96 million m.t. by 2020.
