Polycarbonate demand up, but overcapacity hampers margin gains

Growth in the downstream construction and automotive markets is boosting polycarbonate demand in North America and Western Europe, but worldwide overcapacity will hamper producers’ efforts to increase margins, say analysts at IHS.
