Olin and Trinity to Form JV for Bleach and Caustic Soda Sales

Olin and Trinity Manufacturing (Hamlet, NC) have signed a nonbinding letter of intent to form a joint venture to market and sell high-purity bleach from a new plant at Hamlet. The jv is subject to definitive agreements between the firms and to Olin board approval, Olin says. Capacity was not disclosed.
