Methanex says it is considering relocating its methanol operations at Cabo Negro, Chile to the U.S. Gulf Coast. The complex has the capacity to produce about 3.8 million m.t./year of methanol but has been under-utilized for years due to diminished gas production from suppliers in Argentina.
