Chemical Week Magazine :: Basic Chemicals & Plastics LSB Industries Completes Anhydrous Ammonia Expansion7:14 AM MST | February 10, 2012 | –Lindsey Bewley LSB Industries (Oklahoma City, OK) has completed a project to increase anhydrous ammonia capacity at its Pryor, OK facility. The nameplate ammonia capacity at the plant is 255,500 m.t./year, or about 700 m.t./day, but due to production limitations caused by restrictions in the flow of process gas through heat exchangers and other mechanical restrictions the ammonia plant was unable to sustain production above 182,500 m.t./year—or about 500 m.t./day—during 2011, LSB says. The facility went offline January 3 and was put back into production by February... This information is only available to Chemical Week subscribers. Forgot your user ID or password?
