Chemical Week Magazine :: Basic Chemicals & Plastics Indorama to Boost Pet Capacity10:47 AM MDT | April 15, 2011 Indorama Ventures (Bangkok) says it will boost polyethylene terephthalate (PET) capacity in Europe by a total of 220,000 m.t./year. The company operates five PET plants in Europe, having made several acquisitions in recent years, but it did not specify which sites will be expanded. The expansion was motivated by the supply-demand dynamics within Europe and the need for competitive assets to improve service to customers, Indorama says.
