Gujarat to Produce Methanol

Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemical (GSFC; Vadodara, India) says it will spend $64 million to revamp and modify an old ammonia unit at Baroda, India to produce 175,000 m.t./year of methanol. GSFC has awarded Haldor Topsoe (Lyngby, Denmark) a $12-million contract for the project.
