Feedstock Prices Soar After Fire at Enterprise Facility

North American ethylene prices spiked in the wake of Enterprise Product Partnersâ€™ outage at its Mont Belvieu, TX natural gas storage facility. Supply constraints drove spot ethylene to hit a three-month high in the week following the fire, peaking at 53 cts/lb, market sources say. Ethylene last surged over 50 cts/lb last November.
