Feedstock Prices Soar After Fire at Enterprise Facility

North American ethylene prices spiked in the wake of Enterprise Product Partners’ outage at its Mont Belvieu, TX natural gas storage facility. Supply constraints drove spot ethylene to hit a three-month high in the week following the fire, peaking at 53 cts/lb, market sources say. Ethylene last surged over 50 cts/lb last November.
